Cuteness has powerful appearance that shapes our behavior by eliciting sympathy and protective instinct. I found visual formulas of cuteness from baby, infused them into a typeface, and tested how this cute typeface attracts our senses. A baby is the most obvious example that has cute features from its appearance and behavior. Based on baby’s facial features, a chubby oval face shape became an alphabet’s basic form, and the facial proportion guided division lines of the alphabet form. Overall alphabets’ curvy features were from baby’s endearingly chubby and organic curves. The use of this typeface corresponds with the use of ‘Cuteness’. Although literal message is baby’s grumbling, this typeface soften the tone of voice.
